You can now create, approve, and publish social content directly from Boldstream - no switching tabs, no copying and pasting, no jumping between tools. Your social agent drafts the content, you approve it, and it goes straight to your social channels.
To get started, connect your social accounts. Follow the steps below for each platform.
Which platforms are supported?
You can connect and post to:
Facebook
Instagram
LinkedIn
X (Twitter)
Before you connect
One thing worth knowing: Boldstream has two separate social connections - one for posting and one for pulling data into your reports. This article covers the posting connection only. If you're looking to set up the analytics side, head here instead.
You'll also need to be an admin on any account you want to connect. If you're not sure whether you have the right access, check with whoever manages your social accounts before you start.
Getting connected
Step 1: Head to Brand Hub.
Step 2: Edit your account by clicking the top right icon
Step 3: Choose the platform you want to connect and hit Connect.
Step 4: You'll be walked through the connection flow for that platform. Here's what to expect for each one.
You'll need admin, editor, or moderator access to the Facebook Page you're connecting, plus two-factor authentication switched on for your Facebook account.
Instagram connects through Facebook, so you'll need an Instagram Business account linked to a Facebook Page you're an admin or moderator of. Before you start, check that message access for connected tools is switched on in your Instagram settings, otherwise the connection won't go through.
You'll need to be a super admin on the LinkedIn Company Page you're connecting.
X (Twitter)
You'll need admin access to the X account you're connecting.
You're all set
Once an account is connected, it'll show up under Brand Hub > Edit Social Links > Publishing connections.
You can manage everything from there - see what's live, pause a connection, or add more platforms as you go. Then open your social agent and start drafting. Your Approvals tab will be waiting.
Troubleshooting
Posts aren't going through, even though the account shows as connected.
The most likely cause is that the person who originally connected the account has lost admin access on that platform. Reconnect using an account that still has the right permissions and you should be good to go.
I connected the wrong account.
Disconnect it from Brand Hub > Edit Social Links > Publishing connections and reconnect with the right one.
My Instagram connection keeps dropping.
This usually comes down to a permissions change on the Facebook Page it's linked to. Check that message access for connected tools is still enabled in your Instagram settings, and that the Page admin who originally set things up still has the right access.I don't have admin access to the account I need to connect.
You'll need to ask whoever manages that platform to either connect it themselves or grant you the right permissions first.
Time to get posting
From first draft to published post, it all happens in Boldstream - no extra tools, no extra steps. Your social workflow just got a lot simpler.
