Run a board-ready SEO Audit

Turn technical, visibility and AI-search data into a focused, evidence-led SEO fix plan with a board-ready presentation.

Written by Dan Pillay

The SEO Audit agent pulls technical site data, organic visibility metrics and AI search citations, scores findings on effort and impact, and produces a focused, evidence-led fix plan with a board-ready presentation.

It's built to deliver SEO insight that a senior marketer can act on — not a 200-issue technical dump, but a prioritised set of moves with the data underneath them.

Before you start

  • Have your domain confirmed in the platform

  • If you have Google Search Console connected, the agent uses that for ground truth

  • Know your top 2-3 competitors for the visibility comparison

How to run an audit

Step 1: Open the agent

From the sidebar, open Agent Library and search for SEO Audit, or go directly to app.boldstream.ai/run?agent=seo-audit. Select your client and click Run Agent.

Step 2: Confirm scope

The agent confirms your domain, infers your commercial goal, names likely competitors from your category (you can adjust), and sets the default geographic market. It picks the pages most worth auditing (homepage, key product/service pages, content hubs) unless you direct it elsewhere.

Step 3: Watch the data come in

The agent runs through:

  1. Technical audit — page speed, AI crawler accessibility, structured data, heading hierarchy

  2. External visibility — organic rankings, backlink profile, keyword opportunities vs competitors

  3. Internal visibility — Search Console queries, striking-distance opportunities, landing page performance

  4. AI search visibility — citation share across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, Claude, Copilot, Gemini

  5. Competitive gap analysis — where your competitors are winning that you aren't

Step 4: Read the fix plan

The agent scores every finding on effort and impact, then surfaces a maximum of 10 prioritised actions grouped by theme. Each action is evidenced — what was found, where, and what specifically to do about it.

Step 5: Get the presentation

Final output is a board-ready PDF that leads with the prioritised fix plan on an effort/impact matrix, with the supporting technical, visibility and AI-search data behind it. Title is always brand-specific so you can hand it directly to a CMO or web team lead.

💡 Tip: The agent applies an anti-prediction guardrail — it won't promise specific traffic uplifts without real Search Console data to ground them. That makes recommendations defensible in budget conversations.

What's next?

Pair with the Share of Search Analysis agent for the full picture — SEO Audit tells you what to fix; Share of Search tells you whether competitors are gaining ground while you do it.
