Create and Edit Tools in BoldLayer Settings to Speed Up Agent Work

You can now create and edit tools directly in BoldLayer. This makes it easy to roll out AI-powered capabilities (like image generation or web search) that agents can use to execute tasks faster, without waiting on engineering.

    Setups


    1. Open Tools

    Go to Settings and scroll down until you see the Tools section.


    2. Create Desired Tool

    Click Add Tool.


    3. Name Tool

    Enter a clear name and short description (what it does and who it’s for).


    5. Configure

    Add instructions, parameters, and any required credentials, then click Create.


    6. Edit

    To update later, open the tool from the list and click the Edit icon, then Update.


    You should now be able to:
