Written by Josie Piehl

Prompts are clear instructions you give the AI to produce the outcome you want. The Prompt Library in BoldLayer contains pre-existing, optimised prompts that reduce repeated typing and help you get faster, higher-quality results.

Why use them:

  • Improve speed and accuracy by guiding the AI with proven prompts.

  • Keep conversations organised by choosing to stay in your current chat or start a new one.

Setup

1. Open the Work Room

In BoldLayer, open the Work Room. The Chat Interface will be visible.

2. Start a Conversation

Type your own request in the Chat Interface to begin.

3. Access the Prompt Library

Below the Chat Interface, open the Prompt Library. Filter or search, then select the prompt that best matches your needs.

4. Choose Where to Run the Prompt

When prompted:

  • Stay β†’ Run the selected prompt in your current conversation, keeping existing context.

  • New chat β†’ Start a fresh conversation with the selected prompt applied.

5. Validate in the Work Room

Run a sample prompt and confirm that the output matches your intended result.

Quick tips

  • Be clear about the outcome, audience, and format you need.

  • Keep prompts short, structured, and easy to reuse. Bullet lists work well.

  • Start a new chat when changing topics to avoid mixing contexts.
