Create and name a workstream

Workstreams give you a dedicated space to organize related work in one place. This guide shows you how to create one and give it a name you'll recognize later.

Start on the workstreams page, where all of your workstreams live.

The workstreams page showing the list of existing workstreams and the option to create a new one.

  1. Open your workstreams. Go to the workstreams page. You'll see any workstreams you've already made, along with the option to add a new one.

  2. Create a new workstream. Click to create a workstream. Boldstream adds a fresh, untitled workstream and opens it for you right away.

A newly created, untitled workstream open on screen.

  1. Open the title. Click the workstream's name at the top. The title becomes editable so you can replace the placeholder text.

The workstream title selected and ready to be edited at the top of the page.

  1. Type a name. Enter a name that describes the work, so it's easy to find later.

A name being typed into the workstream's title field.

  1. Save the name. Press Enter to save. The new name appears at the top and in your list of workstreams.

The workstream displaying its saved name at the top of the page.

Check that your name saved

Your workstream now keeps the name you gave it. It stays put when you move away and come back, so you can always find it again.

What to try next: open your named workstream and start adding your work to it.
