Workstreams now appear as cards in chat

Ask the assistant about workstreams and you'll get a clean, clickable card grid instead of a markdown list.

Written by Dan Pillay

This article was the first version, covering only workstream cards. It's now superseded by the broader article that covers all three card types — Workstreams, agents and projects now appear as cards in chat.

Workstreams, presented properly

Ask the assistant about workstreams in any chat and the response appears as a responsive grid of cards — each one showing the workstream name, the recommended starting agent, your progress, and a button to open it.

This pattern now also covers agent cards (when you ask what agents fit a task) and project cards (when you ask what's in flight) — see the updated article for examples, sample prompts, and how-to.

How to see your workstreams in chat

Step 1: Open a chat

Go to Chat in the sidebar and pick the brand you want to work in.

Step 2: Ask about workstreams

Type something like "Show me the workstreams available" or "What workstreams can I use?" and send.

Step 3: Browse the card grid

Each workstream appears as its own card with the title, a starter prompt, and your completion progress. Hit Open Workstream on any card to jump into it.

💡 Tip: The same cards appear on the dedicated Workstreams page in the sidebar — chat uses the exact same component, so you get a consistent look wherever you discover workstreams.

What's next?

Open a workstream from the cards to see its steps, or ask the assistant to start a specific workstream and it'll walk you through. For the broader card pattern (workstreams + agents + projects together), see the unified article.
