Generate audience-tested social posts with the Daily Social Idea agent

Three social concepts → tested with a synthetic UK panel → winning post built out as a branded mockup with copy-paste-ready captions.

Written by Dan Pillay

The Daily Social Idea agent creates one ready-to-publish social post per session — but unlike a one-shot generator, it produces three concepts first, pressure-tests them with a synthetic UK panel, then builds out the winning concept as a designed mockup with finalised copy.

It applies channel best practices automatically: real hooks, compact paragraphs, sentence case, sparse emojis, mixed broad-and-specific hashtags. No LinkedIn-broetry. No "thrilled to announce". No tired phrases. Just defensible daily posts that earn their place in the feed.

Before you start

  • Your brand kit should be set up — colours, logo, fonts

  • Have a rough topic or moment in mind (the agent can help narrow if you're unsure)

How to use it

Step 1: Open the agent

From the sidebar, open Agent Library and search for Daily Social Idea, or go directly to app.boldstream.ai/run?agent=daily-social-idea. Select your client and click Run Agent.

Step 2: Pick a pathway

The agent opens with three options:

  • Express (5–7 min) — one concept, skip the test, straight to mockup

  • Structured (10–15 min) — three concepts, audience-tested, winner picked, full output

  • Conversational — brief the agent first and we'll narrow scope before generating

Step 3: Confirm the brief

The agent runs a quick brand kit check, then asks for the brief: topic or moment, channel (LinkedIn by default), audience override, and any banned topics to avoid. It surfaces context-aware topic options based on your brand's actual remit.

Step 4: Review the concepts

For the Structured pathway, the agent generates three distinct concepts. Each comes with:

  • A scannable, sentence-case headline

  • Full caption / body copy with hook + compact paragraphs

  • 3-5 hashtags at the end (mix of broad and specific)

  • A "Why this idea" subheading explaining the strategic logic

Step 5: Read the audience test

The agent runs the three concepts past a synthetic UK panel by default and surfaces a concise reasoning table: standout score, believability, action intent, and the top quote from the panel for each concept.

Step 6: Pick a winner (or let the agent pick)

The three headlines appear as quick-reply chips at the end of the response. Pick the one you want — or let the agent default to the highest-scoring concept and proceed automatically.

Step 7: Get the mockup

The agent builds the winning post as a branded mockup using your brand kit and hands back:

  • The winning post mockup at full bleed

  • The final post copy as a clean, copy-paste-ready block (headline + caption + hashtags, line breaks preserved)

  • "Why this concept" — the audience read that drove the pick

  • The three losing alternatives as a carousel of cards

  • The audience research table that informed the decision

💡 Tip: Use the Conversational pathway when "what should we post about?" needs answering before "what should we post?" — the agent asks 2-3 framing questions to narrow scope before generating anything.

What's next?

Run the agent daily as a habit, or schedule it as a recurring routine to land in your inbox each morning. Over time, the audience research signals reveal which post styles consistently resonate with your audience.
