Choose where your routine's results land

Scheduled routines now let you pick the destination for each run's results — a fresh conversation every time (the default), or building in the original chat.

Every scheduled routine now lets you decide where each run's results go: a fresh conversation every time, or one chat that keeps building run after run.

Where to find it

When you create or edit a routine — open Routines in the sidebar and click New routine, or turn any chat into a routine with the clock button — you'll see an Output step with a switch: Start each run in a new thread.

Your two options

Switch on (the default). Every run delivers its results in its own new conversation. Each result stays separate and easy to find, and your original chat never grows.

Switch off. Results keep appending to the chat the routine came from, so everything builds in one running conversation — handy when you want this week's round-up sitting right under last week's.

The Output switch turned off, with a note that results will keep appending to the source chat and can eventually hit its limit

💡 Tip: a chat can only hold so much — one that grows every week will eventually fill up. That's why fresh conversations stay the default for routines that run often.

Runs that are already queued keep the setting they were created with, and duplicating a routine carries your choice across.
