Set up multi-factor authentication

Add a second layer of security

Boldstream now supports multi-factor authentication (MFA) with any standard authenticator app — Google Authenticator, Authy, 1Password, or similar. Once set up, you'll enter a 6-digit code from your phone alongside your password when you sign in.

How to enable MFA

Step 1: Open your account settings

Click your avatar in the top right and choose Account.

Step 2: Choose Set up MFA

In the security section, click Set up MFA. You'll see a QR code on screen.

Step 3: Scan the QR code

Open your authenticator app and scan the QR code. The app will start generating 6-digit codes for Boldstream.

Step 4: Confirm with a code

Enter the current 6-digit code from your authenticator app to finish setup. You're done.

💡 Tip: If you skip MFA setup now, Boldstream won't ask again for 90 days. You can come back and set it up anytime from your account settings.

What's next?

From now on, you'll enter a code from your authenticator app each time you sign in. Keep your authenticator app safe — losing access to it means you'll need help getting back into your account.
